Best of Boston Best Event Planner Whim Events Natalie Pinney and Moira Thompson may have started their aptly named wedding-planning firm on a whim, but the dynamic duo is all business. Each company will also receive our sincere gratitude and recognition by email in advance of the dinner, as the reminder message is sent to guests, verbally at the start of the dinner, in print at the dinner, by social media after the dinner and then again in the feature from Boston Magazine. Each company that provides to the dinner is reserved one seat at the table. While our goal is to impress our esteemed colleagues with luxury experiences, creative ideas and interesting elements, the dinners are also a perfect opportunity for vendors to create fresh content for their portfolios. The expectation of each vendor is outlined by Sarah or Tammy prior to each dinner, but we really encourage vendors to approach their contribution to the dinner from an editorial perspective, exploring new creative ideas and techniques that excite them. These dinners have been an excellent opportunity to get better acquainted with both vendors we know and respect and also those we’ve not yet had the chance to work with.
